What are the most inflammatory foods?

By Dr Olivia Naturals Support • May 05, 2015

Wheat, dairy and sugar.  It’s just that simple.  Wheat is the most inflammatory of the grains, and many people notice a significant difference in energy, pain, weight and mental clarity when off of wheat.  Many people are tested for Celiac, which is an autoimmune disease, not a wheat sensitivity/allergy, and think because the test is negative, they don’t have a reaction to wheat, which is simply not true.

The second food I recommend eliminating, after wheat, is dairy.  Dairy in general is highly acidic.  We are the only species that continues to drink milk after being weaned from milk, and we are also the only species that drinks milk from other animals.  You’ve never seen a grown cow drinking milk or drinking milk from a goat for that matter.

Coconut, Cashew, Almond, Rice and Hemp milk have just as much calcium as cow’s milk and are far less inflammatory and lower in sugar.  If you must have milk I do recommend Ghee, raw butter and raw cheeses.  Goat cheese is also less inflammatory and easier to digest than cow’s milk.

Health is my passion. Your health is our mission.
